The 835th session of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution was held on Tuesday, chaired by Dr. Hassan Rouhani and in the presence of Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Ebrahim Raeisi and Speaker of the Iran's Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Saeid Reza Ameli, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution elaborated on the approvals of the meeting, saying the participants stressed the importance of focusing on childhood training and coherent planning for ages 3-6 through establishing National Organization of Child Education. 
He reiterated that global experiences have been reviewed in this regard; a country like Japan allocates 0.2% of its Gross domestic product (GDP) to ages 3-5, allocates $7,863 to each person and covers 93% of the child community.

Germany by allocating 0.9% of its GDP to childhood has one of the best indices and its expenditure per capita is $12,817. Even our neighbor Turkey allocates $5,250 per capita to training 3-5 years old children.   

We hope that with the establishment of the National Organization of Child Education, a new path will be taken with regard to the early childhood period, Prof. Ameli noted.
Members of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution agreed that more serious attention should be paid to this course, he said adding that SCCR puts on its agenda reviewing statute of National Organization of Child Education in its next session.


Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to main agenda of the meeting which was about Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council, saying secretary of Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council presented the related report which shows significant, all-out and honorable achievements in this field.

The major characteristic of nano-field activities is its comprehensiveness. In promotional field, 1,200,000 students have received nano training and have been briefed on nano-technology concept.

Regarding the number of articles, he said they increased from 22 articles and 57th ranking in 2001 to 12,000 articles in international scientific publications and 4th place in 2019.

Prof. Ameli went on to say that nano field has so far had progress in health, energy and agriculture sectors and nano industries have also experienced good growth in a way that the number of registered international inventions reached from 2 cases in 2001 to over 260 cases in 2019 in nanotechnology field.
He noted that 24% of the registered inventions in the world is related to Iran.

He stated that Iran is among seven countries which identify international standards of nano-technology and no nano standard will be finalized.
Prof. Ameli said that during the meeting an article was approved on Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council based on which its principle was ratified.
It was agreed that the statute and regulations related to nano field be finalized in the committee of leading comprehensive scientific roadmap and be approved in  the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution meeting.

Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution referred to sanctions against Iranian educational centers, saying it is regretted that instead of imposing sanctions on centers of promoting violence, terror, and corruptor groups such as ISIS, an important university, such as the Al-Mustafa (PBUH) International University, whose mission is purely educational and scientific, is sanctioned.

Prof. Ameli slammed sanctioning al-Mostafa International University, saying it is unprecedented to impose sanctions against scientific and academic centers in the world.

He urged international bodies, scholars and scientific circles to react to this act.
