Hojjat-ol-Eslam Val-Moslemin Abdul-Hussein Khosrowpanah, Secretary of Iran's Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, during his visit to India, paid a visit to the Jawadiyah Theological Seminary in Varanasi (Banaras) and Banaras Hindu University, where he met with faculty members and students of these institutions.
The Jawadiyah Community in Banaras, also known as "Imam Jawad School," is one of the reputable educational centers in India, established by Allameh Zafar Hasan and currently managed by Hojjat-ol-Eslam Val-Moslemin Sayyed Shemeem al-Hasan Razaavi. During this visit, discussions were held on expanding scientific and cultural cooperation, particularly in the fields of Islamic studies and humanities.
 
Examining the Role of Universities in Promoting Shared Knowledge
 
Continuing his itinerary, Professor Khosrowpanah met with a group of students interested in pursuing higher education at Iranian universities. In this session, emphasis was placed on academic exchanges between Iran and India, especially in traditional medicine and the humanities. Additionally, the role of religion in social life and strategies for strengthening cultural and scientific ties between the two countries were explored.
 
Laying the Groundwork for Future Collaborations
 
These visits are expected to pave the way for broader scientific collaborations between Iran and India. The Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution underscored the importance of academic interactions and knowledge transfer, highlighting Iran's readiness to enhance these connections.
 
At the conclusion of the meeting, scholarly and artistic works were presented to Professor Khosrowpanah by the Jawadiyah Community, symbolizing the historical and cultural bonds between the two nations. Furthermore, Professor Khosrowpanah gifted his book *Practical Mysticism*, translated into Urdu, to Hojjat-ol-Eslam Shemeem al-Hasan, as a token of mutual respect and cultural exchange.
 
This visit reflects the ongoing efforts of both nations to deepen their scientific and cultural relations, fostering a spirit of collaboration and shared understanding between Iran and India.
