Today, the issue of Palestine and the Palestinian Resistance Movement is emblematic of all movements and struggles for justice

Prof. Saied Reza Ameli, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, emphasized in a note on the occasion of World Al-Quds Day that if we submit to Zionist oppression, we have accepted oppression of the whole world, oppression of ourselves and our children and families and support of al- Quds is in fact supporting of all justice and all goodness and kindness and is a symbolic support, and the fight against Israel is a fight against all evil and an emblematic struggle.

 This note is as follows:

In the name of God

Today, the issue of Palestine and the Palestinian Resistance Movement is emblematic of all movements and struggles for justice. Today, all the faith and establishment of divine justice have gathered in the support of the oppressed people of Palestine and the recapture of the occupied territories and all the corruption and oppression in the usurper Zionist regime of Israel. Whilst many have tried to portray this struggle as an inter-religious struggle, this divine struggle is actually common to all divine religions and all freedom-seekers in the world. It is not a confrontation between Islam and Judaism.
According to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, the demand for the annihilation of Israel does not mean the annihilation of the Jews, and this concept has been expressed by him several times over the past 20 years. Muslims and to some extent Christians and Jewish people have all been victims of the usurping and child-killing Israeli regime. Many Christians and Jewish people have always been at the forefront of the struggle against the Zionist regime.
The 33 day war between Israel and Lebanon in 2006 showed that the oppressive Israeli regime is more fragile than any other regime. As Imam Khomeini said in 1980, if Muslims united and each one emptied a bucket of water over Israel, the regime would be washed away. The 33 day war illustrated how such an ambition could come to fruition.
The greatest asset for fighting against Israeli oppression, is motivation, faith and determination.
Today Islamic governments have looked the other way in the face of clear violation against the life and land of the Palestinians, and violated the 1969 pact which resulted in the formation of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. Despite that, a common global discourse amongst all religions and freedom fighters of the world has formed against the Zionist oppression. The greatest asset for fighting against Israeli oppression, is motivation, faith and determination.
Today, the usurping Israeli regime has lost both its deterrent and offensive power
Today, all those pursuing freedom say that we are Palestinians in the sense that they see themselves in the place of the oppressed and displaced Palestinians, especially the oppressed Palestinian children, and they believe in the concept that “whatever you accept for yourself you must accept for others”.
Yes, in the words of the leader of Islamic Revolution, there will be no more hit and run and the will to respond and react has been formed, and any kind of oppression has been and will be met with widespread reaction.
Today, the usurping Israeli regime has lost both its deterrent and offensive power. The lies of the iron shield, and the fear of the child-murdering Israeli regime are no longer. The only way forward for the occupying Israeli regime is to hold a referendum and return the occupied territories. In fact, accepting Palestinian democracy is the key to resolving the Palestinian issue.
Today, the symbol of seeking justice is the fight against Israel, and the sign of seeking justice is the support of the oppressed people of Palestine.
If we submit to Zionist oppression, we have accepted oppression of the whole world
If we submit to Zionist oppression, we have accepted oppression of the whole world, oppression of ourselves and our children and families and support of al- Quds is in fact is supporting of all justice and all goodness and kindness and is a symbolic support, and the fight against Israel is a fight against all evil and an emblematic struggle.
Al-Quds Day is not only the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, but every day is Al-Quds Day. Of course, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan is a symbol of support for the honorable and great people of Palestine. By God’s will and with the determination of the nations of the world, Palestine is the definitive and honorable winner of this battlefield.
Except those who believe and do righteous deeds and remember God much, and when they are wronged, they will defend themselves (and the believers); those who oppressed will soon know where they return! (Sura al-Shu'ara '- verse 227).
